Bowls & Turtles

The Peyote bowls are cute miniature decoration. The turtles come w/ or w/o a long piece of leather already attached that can be used to hang it. If you already have an idea of what colors you want your turtle(s) to be. You can special order it at the bottom of the page. The Turtles are filled with sage. Sage is also very sacred used to bless or smudge. Their is a small cut on the belly of the turtle so you can insert the belly button. In our culture we keep the belly button that falls off after birth. Then we put it in the shell of a turtle for luck & protection to keep the child safe. Also because turtles live long lives & we wish this for the child.
